verse 1

ei bāra pāile dekhā caraṇa dukhāni

hiyāra mājhāre rākhi juḍābo parāṇī

এই বার পাইলে দেখা চরণ দুখানি

হিয়ার মাঝারে রাখি জুড়াবো পরাণী

एइ बार पाइले देखा चरण दुखानि

हियार माझारे राखि जुड़ाबो पराणी

translation 1

I pray that I may now see the two lotus feet of Lord Kṛṣṇa. I will place these lotus feet in my heart. I will dedicate my entire life and soul to them.

verse 2

tāre nā dekhiyā mora mone boro tāp

anale paśibo kimbā jale dibo jhāmp

তারে না দেখিয়া মোর মনে বড় তাপ

অনলে পশিব কিংবা জলে দিব ঝাঁপ

तारे ना देखिया मोर मने बड़ ताप

অনলে পশিব কিম্বা জলে দিব ঝাঁপ

translation 2

If I am not able to see Lord Kṛṣṇa's lotus feet, my heart will burn with suffering. I will end this life by entering a blazing fire, or jumping into the water.

verse 3

mukhera muchābo ghāma khāoyābo pān guyā

śramete bātās dibo candanādi cūyā

মুখের মুছাব ঘাম খাওয়াব পান গুয়া

শ্রমেতে বাতাস দিব চন্দনাদি চুয়া

मुखेर मुछाबो घाम खाओयाबो पान गुया

श्रमेते बातास दिबो चन्दनादि चुया

translation 3

When I meet Lord Kṛṣṇa I will serve Him in various ways. I will wipe the perspiration from His face. I will give Him nice food and drink. I will offer Him betel-nuts. I will fan Him. I will anoint His body with sandalwood paste and other fragrant things.

verse 4

vṛndāvanera phuler gāṅthiyā dibo hār

bināiyā bāndhibo cūḍā kuntalera bhār

বৃন্দাবনের ফুলের গাঁথিয়া দিব হার

বিনাইয়া বান্ধিব চূড়া কুন্তলের ভার

वृन्दावनेर फुलेर गाँथिया दिबो हार

बिनाइया बान्धिबो चूड़ा कुन्तलेर भार

translation 4

I will string a garland of Vṛndāvana forest flowers, and then present that garland to Lord Kṛṣṇa. I will carefully arrange His hair and tie His topknot.

kapāle tilaka dibo candanera cānd

narottama dāsa kohe pirītera phānd

কপালে তিলক দিব চন্দনের চাঁদ

নরোত্তম দাস কহে পীরিতের ফাঁদ

कपाले तिलक दिबो चन्दनेर चाँद

नरोत्तम दास कहे पीरितेर फाँद

translation 5

I will decorate Lord Kṛṣṇa with a peacock feather, tilaka markings, and a moon drawn in sandalwood paste. Narottama dāsa says: In this way I will gradually attain love for Lord Kṛṣṇa.
